I have a school that I go to everyday when Mommy and Daddy go to work. I have been going there as far back as I can remember. I have been in 4 different classes and with many different teachers that I really like. On March 27th a thing called a tornado came through and hit my school. I’m not sure what that is, but I know that I can’t go back to my school anymore. Mommy had to find me a new school. I didn’t really want her to find me a school because I would rather stay home with Mommy everyday. We went to a few different school and Mommy finally picked one called Sunshine House. It has a really fun playground that I like a lot. I guess if I can't be at my old school with the teachers that I like I can try this new school out. I’ll let you know how it goes. Talk to you soon.

St. Patricks Day

I went to see my Grammy and Grampy in Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago. We went to this thing that my Mommy said was a parade. I made friends with a little boy while I was there. It was the first parade that I had ever been too. It was fun there people in funny cars and people who gave me necklaces and candy! I really liked that stuff. I also got a hat, but I didn’t like it so much, After the parade we went to a street fair. There were a lot of people and I couldn’t see very much except legs. Daddy won me a doggy when he played a game. The next day we went to the park where I showed Grammy and Grampy how much I love to slide. It was a lot of fun. We walked all over, it made everyone tired but me! It was fun to see my Grammy and Grampy. I hope I get to see them again soon.

Well it has been about a month since my last post. After my birthday things quieted down some. I moved to my new classroom at school. Things are going pretty well. I don’t like it when Mommy drops me off in the morning, but I have pretty good days. The second week we had another big snow storm. I got to go out in the snow with Julia and Natalie in my new snowsuit. My Grandma got it for me for next year, but I wore it anyway. We didn’t stay out long because it was really cold and I didn’t like the snow blowing in my face. I moved from my crib into a big girl bed! It has Elmo and Zoe on it!!! I got new sheets and a pillow too. I don’t really like to take naps in it, but I like to sleep in it at night. I bring lots of friends into the bed with me. Sometimes my Mommy wonders how there is any room left for me. I really like my new bed. The next week was the week of valentine’s day. We had a party at school and I got valentines from all of my friends. It was a lot of fun.On Sunday I got some nice gifts from my Grammy and Grampy, Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Pat and Mommy and Daddy. Mommy and I went to Mr. Michael’s and Ms. Allison’s house for part of the day. I had a lot of fun coloring over there. Ms. Allison had a lot of colored pencils that she let me use. Last weekend I went down to Grandma and Grandpa’s house for the weekend. We went to church while we were there, I got to sleep in a special bed in the room with Mommy. It was the first time that I tried to sleep in a real bed there. Mommy says that I did really well and she was proud of me. This weekend I went to Natalie’s birthday party at a dance school. I had a lot of fun running around. I didn’t really understand all of the directions, but the teacher said that I did really well. I was really happy that Natalie invited me to come to her party. I even got to bring a goody bag home with me. I like parties, even if they aren’t mine.

Maggie Turns 2

Last week I had my 2nd Birthday. I had a party at school with all of the kids in my class and my teacher Tracy. It was my last day in that class. Now that I’m a big girl I go to a new room with big kids like me. At my party at school Mommy brought in little cupcakes for us to eat. They were really yummy. When we got home from school Grandma and Grandpa came to my house to see me. They brought me some blocks with letter and numbers on them that go in a wagon. They also gave me a bear that sings to me and a doll for the bathtub. We met Daddy for dinner, where I got to use new placemats that I can color on. I love to color. The next day was my party! Grammy, Grampy, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Nick, Uncle Brian and Cousin Alex all came to our house. Miss Susie, Mr. Phil, Natalie and Julia came over for my party too! It was an Abby theme. There were Abby plates, steamers, a balloon, and noisemakers. My cupcakes were even the same color as Abby. Mine had a candle on it! I got a lot of fun stuff for my birthday. I got puzzles, books, clothes, stuff for my doll, a doll and dog that have clothes that snap on. I got a horsey thing that I bounce on and a roller coaster car and track that I ride on. I had a really great birthday. I wish I could have them more often.

Christmas Part 2

So after Gammy and Granpy left I went back to school for a few days. Then my Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Brian came to see us for Christmas. They showed up and we tried to go to a place called church. There were very few seats when we got there and I didn’t like sitting on Mommy’s lap, so Daddy had to take me home. We had a big dinner when everyone got home. Soon after that I went to bed. When I got up the next morning Santa had come. (Good thing he came while I was sleeping, he is kinda scary.) He left me a whole bunch more toys! I got an Abby doll, that I sleep with every night, clothes, a blanket, a sit-n-spin, a shopping cart, shoes, an Elmo restaurant, puzzles, and a new kind of cup that has a straw. It was a whole lot of stuff and I had to take a break in the middle. I had a lot of fun playing restaurant with my Uncle Brian. My Aunt Patty even called from Europe, wherever that is.I could get use to this whole Christmas thing.

Christmas Part 1

Well my Grammy and Grampy from Myrtle Beach came to see me a few weeks ago. We were having what Mommy said was an early Christmas. He day that they came there was a lot of snow. Mommy came to get me early from school. I was suppose to have a party, but everyone went home early so we didn’t have our party. We got up early on Saturday to have breakfast and open presents. I wasn’t really sure about what I was suppose to do, but I got the hang of it really quickly. I did a really good job opening gifts. I even helped other people open their gifts too. I got a baby doll that cries and laughs, a set of books, an Abby costume, and a desk to color at and some other stuff too. I really like my desk! I color at it just about everyday. I even get other people to color with me too. My desk came with new crayons and paper and other supplies. I really like this Christmas thing. Mommy and Daddy said that there will be more stuff later when Mommy’s family comes! I can’t wait to see what else I get.

My 2nd Thanksgiving

I went to visit my Grandma and Grandpa for Thanksgiving. Mommy and I drove down to their house on Wednesday. Daddy came down to meet us that night after I went to bed. I got up on Thanksgiving and watched a parade. My favorite characters were on it! They had big Balloons that I liked to see. My Uncle Brian came to Grandma and Grandpa’s house too. We had a big dinner at the fancy table. I didn’t like all of the food that Grandma made but i had a lot of really yummy food. We stayed for a few days, but Daddy had to leave to go back to work. I think that I’m going to like this holiday thing!

Meeting Alex

As many of you know my Aunt Lisa and Uncle Nick had a baby boy on October 30th. His name is Alex and Mommy and Daddy tell me that he is my cousin. I went to Maryland a few weeks ago to meet him. Mommy and Daddy and I drove up to Maryland in Daddy’s car. It was a really long trip, but I got to watch Elmo on the way so I didn’t mind it. When we got there Alex was sleeping. He does that a lot. He also eats a lot too. I think he eats more then I do! I really wanted to help Aunt Lisa with Alex, just like I help with the babies at school. I like to help by bringing things to the baby that I think that they might need. I don’t always get it right, but I try really hard. One thing that I noticed was that Alex doesn’t have any shoes. You know how much I like shoes so I tried to loan him mine and put them on his feet. They didn’t really fit him very well. While we were there My Grammy and Grampy showed up too! I really love to see them. Grammy brought me a book called How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I really like to have Mommy read it to me. Grampy brought me a bib that says I love Grandpa. I really like my bib and I wear it a lot, since I’m still a little messy when I eat. I had a really good trip and I can’t wait to see Alex again. Stay tuned to hear how my 2nd Thanksgiving went…..

My Trip to New Jersey

Well I had an exciting weekend! I went on a plane to a place called New Jersey. It was my second trip on a plane. Mommy and I left on Friday morning. I got to sit on Mommy’s lap on the plane. I didn’t mind most of the trip, but landing was not fun at all. We went to Highlands, New Jersey where the wedding was held. We met up with my Grandparents and my Aunt Patty. My Grandpa’s cousin’s son Patrick got married to a lady named Kimberly. The wedding was really pretty and I was quiet for most of the time. Grandma brought me a bunch of toys to play with. After the wedding was over I went back to the hotel and stayed with my Godmother Karen. We played for a long time, I didn’t ever want to go to sleep! On Saturday I went to Edison New Jersey to visit my Aunt Pat. I got to stay at her house. She even borrowed toys for me to play with from some other kids. My Mommy’s cousin Jim came to have dinner with us and he brought me a snowman. I didn’t think that I was going to like either of them, but I did! Jim was a lot of fun and I really like the snowman. We came home on Sunday where we got to see Daddy! I had a lot of fun, but Boy are Mommy and me happy to be back home.

My Second Halloween

I had a really exciting week this week. There was a party at my daycare on Friday, for Halloween. People dressed up in costumes and I thought that some of them were kinda scary. I didn’t wear my costume because I was saving it for Trick or Treating. On Friday night Mommy told me that I had become a cousin for the first time. My Aunt Lisa and Uncle Nick had a baby boy named Alexander Trafford Philp. He wasn’t as big as me when I was born. I can’t wait to go up to Maryland to meet him. I have so many things that I want to teach him! Saturday was Halloween! All of my grandparents came to see me. I wore the cat dress that my Grandma Eccard gave me for the day. For Halloween I was a cowgirl! I had a pink hat, pink boots and even a pink and purple horse! I didn’t really like going trick or treating. I thought that the decorations and costumes were scary. I wouldn’t even go up to the houses to get the candy. I just walked around with my lawnmower. My mom says that maybe I’ll like it better next year. I guess we will have to wait and see.
